Welcome to the Twilight Lexicon! Here you will find information pertaining to the amazing and enticing
world created by Stephenie Meyer. Take a moment and have a look around.
Stephenie just posted the following on her MySpace (in other words, don’t miss out on this chance if she is coming to a town near you):
"Just a reminder that many of the events on The Host tour still have tickets available. I’ve seen a few comments from people looking forward to the Breaking Dawn tour, so I wanted to reiterate that The Host tour is the last big tour that I will be doing. Chances are that if I’m coming somewhere close to you, I won’t be coming to the same city the next time around. Also, there won’t be as many events on the Breaking Dawn tour, which means not as many tickets. At most of The Host events, I will be able to sign a couple of your Twilight Saga books, so if that is your goal, don’t procrastinate.
All the information about the events on my The Host tour and the rules for the individual events are up on my site’s calendar page."
Also, because no doubt someone will ask, there are limited tickets because Stephenie’s last signings drew 1,000’s of fans. Many of them had backpacks filled with 20+books. She was signing upwards of 5,000 books per event. As generous as Stephenie is, there are limits to human endurance.
Local bookstores just can’t handle that volume on-site that’s why the signings except for the Mall of America are at off-site venues. Additionally they have rental fees associated with those sites, that’s why there is a fee for the tickets to cover the rental, security , staffing, etc.
Shock Till You Drop News has a report about future Twilight movies.
We just want to state again, the as of right now, Stephenie HAS NOT given over the rights to any movie but Twilight. Despite any quotes to the contrary, any "scripts" are going nowhere fast, unless the rights are granted.
Edited: They also have some great set pictures here.
Here is a news clip from KGW TV. They talk with Wick Godfrey, the producer as well as an extra.
There are also exterior shots of Madison High School. And don’t miss the reporter’s final comment!!
Our fab teenage extra has once again posted a wonderful commentary about her day on the set of Twilight. Click the link for the whole report. Her highlights today include:
She asks that any admin from other websites please give her the credit for her reports and link back to her blog or she will not post her report of the prom when she comes back to film in April. Be kind, folks, and give credit where credit is due. Kiki’s reports have been awesome and I would hate to miss out on any of her information because someone couldn’t link back to her.
It seems that someone in the press world has finally caught on to the fact that Twilight fans are 100% devoted and that this fandom isn’t going anywhere but to the movies in December! Shock Till You Drop has an interesting article on the whole movie experience as well as the promise of more things to come! Hop over there to read it and support their efforts. Make sure the world knows how big Twilight really can be!
We are very fortunate to have Solomon Trimble, Sam Uley, grant us his first major interview. There is no doubt about it, he IS Sam! Without question that he has a bright future ahead of him.
Thank you to Cocoa for acting as our reporter, and a HUGE thank you to Solomon for giving us the privilege of conveying his words and feeling to the Twilight fans. You can discuss Solomon’s fantastic answers over at the message boards.
Some select quotes are here:
"Family always came first; I just want to give back to them for being so supportive of me…."
"I’ve always been interested in acting; my background is in stage acting and dance…."
"I don’t think Sam carried the burden of a secret; the fact that he said anything makes it clear that he’s more interested in protecting his people…"
